Katherine Jenkins OBE has announced a string of UK dates for An Evening with Katherine Jenkins in April and May 2019. Throughout the majority of the tour, she will be joined by The London Concert Orchestra, who Jenkins has been working with for the past two years on other concert series. The Ulster Orchestra will be supporting her Irish dates.
The star also announced her new album, Guiding Light, due for release on Friday 30 November 2018 via Decca Records.
Support at Slane will come from Ghost and Bokassa with more acts to be announced.
Speaking at a press conference announcing the show, Slane Castle owner Lord Henry Mountcharles said playing Slane had been on Metallica's "bucket list" and that the band "tick all the boxes" for the iconic Meath venue.
The concert will be Metallica's first Irish date in a decade.
Longtime visitors to Ireland, Metallica made their Irish debut on the Master of Puppets European Tour in 1986 with a legendary show at Dublin's St Francis Xavier Hall in September of that year.

Legendary British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac have announced they’ll be bringing their An Evening with Fleetwood Mac Tour to the UK next summer, with a one-off London show at Wembley Stadium. The tour, which recently kicked off in North America will roll into the capital on Sunday 16 June 2019.
Formed in London in the 1960s, Fleetwood Mac are one of the most successful recording artists of all time, selling in excess of 100 million albums worldwide. In their illustrious career so far, the band have released 17 studio albums and no fewer than 62 singles.
Their most successful album to date is the 1977 release Rumours. The record, which peaked at No.1 in the US and UK on release is one of the best selling albums of all time, reaching diamond status in several countries and spawning hit singles such as You Make Loving Fun, Dreams, Don’t Stop and the seminal Go Your Own Way.

Foo Fighters have confirmed details of two shows in Ireland as part of their upcoming tour next summer.
The band will headline Vital Festival at Boucher Road in Belfast on Monday August 19 and Dublin's RDS Arena two days later on Wednesday, August 21. The Foos last played Ireland in 2015 when they headlined Slane Castle.

Pop superstars Little Mix return in autumn 2019 with their The LM5 Tour across the UK and Ireland.
The arena tour kicks off in Dublin on 10 October, ending in Leeds on 19 November 2018. The girls will also perform three massive nights at The O2 Arena in London as part of the run.

Now, pushing even further, they are doing a tour in October and November 2019 stopping in the UK that will be different from anything they have previously undertaken.
Magne Furuholmen, Morten Harket and Pål Waaktaar-Savoy will be performing in An Evening With format, with an interval. For the first half of the concert, they will play new and old, familiar and less-familiar songs. Then, after returning to the stage, they will play the 10 songs of their 1985 debut album Hunting High And Low in the running order of the original release.
Back in October 2010, a-ha had played the whole of Hunting High And Low just twice, first at Oslo’s Konserthus and then at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The tour is timed to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of the original version of Take On Me – issued in the UK on 19 October 1984 to reputed sales of just 300 copies. The re-recorded Take On Me was released in Britain during April 1985 to little fanfare, and in America that May where it hit big after its striking promotional video was seen on TV. It was reissued in the UK that September and, finally, the British hit came.
